ABOUT

The Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys is excited to present the “Ladies of Laughter Comedy Fest: Celebrating Funny Jewish Women” March 7-10 of 2024. Our goal with this festival is to spotlight Jewish female comediennes, who do not often get to be the voice for entertainment. We have created a Jewish-themed event that invites the entire Southern California community to watch these talented women perform at the famous Ice House in Pasadena.

Taking place during National Women’s Month, the Ladies of Laughter Comedy Fest is a great way to bring together people from all backgrounds to celebrate the power of comedy to unite us.  We are giving a voice to people who identify as female and Jewish and celebrating the art they bring into the world.

I am writing to you on behalf of the Ladies of Laughter Comedy Fest: Celebrating Funny Jewish Women, a groundbreaking event celebrating Jewish women's wit, humor, and resilience through comedy. This inaugural event is scheduled for March 7-10, 2024, at the renowned Ice House in Pasadena. The Ladies of Laughter Comedy Fest aims to empower, entertain, and inspire audiences while promoting Jewish women's rich cultural heritage in the comedy world.

We are reaching out to seek your support as a sponsor for this unique and significant event. By joining the Ladies of Laughter (LOL) Luminary Circle, you will not only be endorsing the talents of these remarkable artists but also contributing to the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and laughter in our community.

Your generous donation will enable us to cover essential expenses such as venue rental, production costs, promotional materials, and artist fees. Additionally, your support will provide a strong start and options for the future growth of emerging Jewish women comedians, fostering the next generation of humorists. LOL Luminary Circle members will be acknowledged in the Festival program, at all Festival events, and will be honored at our Saturday, March 9 evening reception preceding our Stand-Up Night.
