Yom HaShoah Commemoration

a special staged play reading by the Jewish Federation’s JFed Players

Remember My Name by Joanna Kraus is a prize-winning play about a young Jewish girl who survives the Holocaust in occupied France by assuming a false identity, aided by brave allies. It traces her growth from a sheltered child to a resilient adolescent and underscores the power of individual moral courage in the face of prejudice.

The JFed Players present:

Southern Fried Funeral

by J. Dietz Osborne and Nate Eppler

Dewey Frye is dead, and the rest of his family is left to pick up the pieces — that is, if they don’t kill each other first. Funerals bring out the worst, the best, and the funniest in people, and the Fryes are no exception. A big-hearted comedy about family, Southern-style.
