Leading Ladies is a hilarious play by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor) about two down-on-their-luck English Shakespearean actors who hear of an ailing old lady planning to leave her fortune to her two long-lost English nephews. They decide to masquerade as the nephews, only to find out the nephews are actually nieces. Undaunted, they move forward with their plan – in drag! Romantic entanglements abound in this screwball comedy filled with bad behavior, high heels, and a world of comedy.
