Counting the Omer with Howard Rubin
Presented by RiversideTemple Beth El
RSVP: Email office@tberiv.org for the Zoom link
Howard will explain and guide participants through the mitzvah of "Counting the Omer," a practice that begins each year after the second night of Passover and continues for 49 days until Shavuot. The ancient Kabalistic approach to this practice points us toward focusing our attention each week on one of the 10 Qualities on the "Tree of Life,” and each day of the week on one aspect of that Quality. This will be an updated, actionable approach to this practice, which is rooted both in the ancient process and in modern transformational psychology. Each person will be encouraged to make each day really count as a step toward their own inner growth and personal experience of Freedom, by connecting with, and acting from, their inner Qualities of Love, Strength, Compassion, Power, Peace, Joy and
Freedom. Instructions and support resources will be provided to allow people to continue this Mitzvah practice for the entire Omer period, either alone or in community.
